Padre Behavioral Hospital is the only private freestanding psychiatric facility in South Texas. Padre Behavioral Hospital offers a continuum of care for all ages – children, adolescents and adults. Treatment is offered at every level of care: inpatient and outpatient services that include partial hospital and intensive outpatient programs for mental health and addictive disorders. Our philosophy identifies the need for separate and individualized treatment programs based on an ongoing process of continual assessment that begins with the initial contact and continues through the day of discharge and beyond. A flow of information between each patient and their treatment team leads to the development of new skills that can be used to overcome obstacles to recovery and identification of resources that help insure an individual’s ability to maintain the progress made during treatment.
